When we talk about the love of food, it feels like the whole universe agrees. Wherever we go, the experience is often shaped by the meals we have. So, let me share with you what it’s like to dine in Tobyhanna from a food lover’s perspective. In Tobyhanna, every dish feels like it’s been specially crafted just for you, with local restaurants across the town offering menus filled with delightful choices.

Let me take you on a personal journey through the Tobyhanna restaurants we’ve tried and loved. It’s not just about eating; it’s about experiencing stories with every bite. Trust me, these places in Tobyhanna will make you eager to come back for more.

1. The French Manor

One of the best Pocono restaurants in Pennsylvania, the French Manor’s exquisite dining area has two enormous fireplaces and a 40-foot vaulted ceiling. If you want a great view of the Pocono Mountains, ask for a table on the terrace. If you want to eat later, ask for a table by the fireplace (please note that table requests are subject to availability).

On the stone veranda, breakfast can be served when the weather is favorable. Classical and Nouvelle French cuisine are both featured on our upscale evening menu. Each meal is a special dining experience thanks to candlelight dining, our talented chefs, and our attentive staff.

The Main Dining Room has a dress code of dressy casual (jackets for gentlemen are suggested, not required). Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in restaurants. The Terrace Outdoors is open in addition to providing informal dining with a stunning view throughout the warmer months. Since 2003, the hotel and restaurant have been AAA four-diamond rated.

2. Sortino’s Pocono Manor

Old-school Italian food meets modernity at Sortino’s Italian Kitchen, a new-age red sauce restaurant. A heritage of hospitality started by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they launched the first Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio, is carried on in the casual restaurant and bar Sortino’s Italian Kitchen in the Poconos.

Sortino’s embraces the family recipes and gives spirit to its Sicilian immigrant forefathers, adding a fresh chapter to a long culinary legacy. It would seem like it had been there forever if a neighborhood Italian restaurant like this opened up on your block tomorrow. The framed family portraits at the entrance set the mood, and the maître ‘d’s cordial greeting reinforces it.

The sight of an abundance of home-cooked Italian dishes rushing from the kitchen to the table captures the eye, while the perfume of boiling sauces and freshly baked bread piques the hunger.

3. Double-cut steak house – Pocono Manor

Dine with a signature experience.  Every aspect of the trademark dining experience at Double Cut Steak House is designed to let you unwind from the pressures of work and daily life.

Enter our modern steakhouse, which offers a menu with hearty choices roasted over hot coals, such as steak, seafood, chops, chicken, and veggies. While modern, the design won’t be ostentatious. The setting was upscale and multimodal while still feeling welcoming.

The staff was knowledgeable but unassuming. The uniforms are distinctive yet elegantly traditional. Greetings from Double Cut. Traditionalists won’t be turned off by the menu’s departure from a traditional steakhouse.

Classic steaks and chops as well as seafood, including lobster tail, will be included in the categories.

4. Bistecca by II Mulino

BISTECCA by IL MULINO combines its history of hand-crafted pasta, regional seafood, and farm-fresh vegetables prepared in the traditional fashion of Abruzzo’s cuisine with the conveniences of a modern steakhouse, its meticulously chosen meats hand-cut by our Executive Chef, and its skillfully appointed wine menu showcasing the best varietals from around the world. Join us for a memorable supper, and from the time you arrive, let our world-class service pamper you.
