Statue of Liberty

The most popular and renowned attraction of NYC, which portrays democracy, freedom and the dream of people who arrive in America. There is the Statue of Liberty museum, which displays almost 500 exhibits and a theater for viewing the aerial views of the statue. 

Hear me out, if you wish to witness the beauty of the statue without waiting in long queues, go for the Staten Island Ferry, which is free and takes  you to view the amusing Statue of Liberty alongside the amazing Skyline.

Empire State Building

Built as the tallest building in the world in 1931 with the modernist Art Deco design, the Empire State Building is a skyscraper which rises 102 stories. The building was established for hosting corporate business offices and now exists as one of the main tourist attractions of New York City.

Moreover, the park is home for musicians, athletes, strollers and even for the migratory birds. What’s more to it? Let’s see, the park has almost 50 fountains, sculptures, monuments and 36 bridges alongside several arches inside.

Known as a heaven for art enthusiasts, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the biggest museum of art located in the Western Hemisphere. The museum has a huge collection of art pieces, artifacts and beautiful architecture from the past several eras and cultures and traditions. 

This majestic museum started in the 1870, to make people know more about the art and its wonders. Moreover, the museum is filled with more than 2 million permanent displays, in which the first floor shows the Roman, Egyptian and Greek art, and the second floor is for displaying many Islamic artworks.

The best part of the museum is that it displays Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”, Picasso’s “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon”, Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory” and Warhol’s “Campbell’s Soup Cans”.  

Moreover, the museum displays many contemporary and modern exhibitions of artworks, more than a thousand screenings of films and a huge array of educational workshops and programs.

American Museum of Natural History

Founded in 1860, the American Museum of Natural History is a renowned world’s educational, scientific and cultural institution. The museum features permanent exhibition halls of more than 40, which is included with the Richard Gilder Center for science, innovation and education and Rose Center for Earth and Space with the Hayden Planetarium.

The museum extends 4 city blocks with 25 buildings which are interconnected, the museum displays the dinosaurs, in which the most favored ones are Tyrannosaurus Rex and Apatosaurus. Moreover, the museum sponsors several field expeditions every year alongside many research projects which are ongoing in several countries.

The road is known as the heart of New York’s entertainment and has been renowned all over the world as the district with the best theaters. The road became famous in the 19th century and is bustling all the time yet it is best to visit after sunset. 

Lincoln Center

One of the must see New York attractions, Lincoln Center is home to almost 11 resident art organizations which display music, dance, films, opera, theater and many more. The theater features several artists from all over the world. The center is included with Metropolitan Opera House, the New York CIty Ballet and the Juilliard School of Music. The park extends above 1.3 miles alongside Brooklyn’s Waterfront which offers many recreational opportunities like basketball courts, playgrounds, Brooklyn’s latest roller skating rink and many sports fields. Smorgasburg

Known as the largest open air food market in the country which is operated not just in New York but in many other places too like Los Angeles, São Paulo, Miami, Toronto and Jersey City. The place offers places for family, friends and office gatherings like restaurants, beer gardens and more. 

Furthermore, the food market takes place on Saturdays only with several food vendors offering their best. The market is reopening on April 6 at Marsha P. Johnson State Park, 90 Kent Wave in Brooklyn.

Famous for the expensive stores and luxury, Fifth Avenue displays the best energies of NYC’s day and night. 5th Avenue could be perfect for a one day trip as the journey into luxury shopping is so full that it’ll take you a whole day to explore it fully. The best part of 5th Avenues is between the 49th and 60th streets which displays luxury brands like Armani, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and several others.
