This historic monument was built as an ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot in the township of Milford during the 1880s which is certainly one of my favorite attractions in the region. Gifford Pinchot, a Governor, conservationist and the first chief of the US Forest service built this estate in 100 acres of space, which later was declared as a historic place and is open to the public with many special events and tours.
Today, this historic monument provides many amenities and fun things to do in Milford, PA such as leadership training, conference center, trails, wayside exhibits, free visitor films, gift shops, ticketed museum tours, visitors center and free parking.
