The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University is home to about 15 Atlantic City artwork studios and shops. The goal is to educate and help budding artists with the necessary resources. During my visit, I could watch how the artists work and ask questions about their art, and I also bought a few original art pieces directly from the artists.
I got to see different artists working on various mediums such as photography, painting, jewelry making, found object art, basketry and so on. The Noyes Arts Garage is also home to the famous African American Heritage Museum and a gift shop which is part of the Noyes Museum of Art.

2. Stockton University Art Gallery

The art gallery is a two-story space where artists can exhibit their masterpieces. I got an opportunity to see a rich and diverse variety of Atlantic City wall art in this art gallery. This is an educational art gallery and so it is a suitable place to visit with your kids.

1. Dante Hall Theater
Constructed in 1926 to be a church hall by St. Michael’s Church, Dante Hall Theater became a performing arts venue through a renovation funded by the government agency, Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.
The theater hosts a number of shows regularly, which include Atlantic City dance, live concerts, film festivals, operas and more. If you want to watch dancing in Atlantic City, NJ, then this theater is the go-to place that I would recommend.

2. Eagle Theatre
Eagle Theatre is a theater that is focused on sharing meaningful stories through productions that are innovative and help in the progress of the live theater experience. The theater showcases musicals and plays that feature AC music and performing arts.
Along with this, the Eagle Theatre conducts a special festival called the New Jersey Fringe Festival, which I was lucky enough to attend. It is a 3-day street/indoor event that showcases theatrical performances from multiple productions. The place also has a conservatory for theater education for students.

1. Atlantic City Historical Museum
Started in 1985, the Atlantic City History Museum is a museum situated in the Atlantic City Experience on Boardwalk Hall. The museum showcases more than 150 years of the history of Atlantic City.
The collections showcased are rich and diverse. I really liked the blue and gray interiors which give the museum a more historical setting.

2. The African American Heritage Museum
The African American Museum in Atlantic City is one of the popular museums in Atlantic City, NJ, started by Ralph E. Hunter, Sr. It showcases the life history of African Americans from the 20th century. Along with a local museum in Southern New Jersey, it also has a traveling museum with more than 3000 African-American artifacts.
During my visit to the museum, the staff was friendly to me and patient enough to explain each of the artifacts. The atmosphere in the museum is really pleasant and good. If you are wondering where to visit in Atlantic City with your kids, this could be a great place to explore.
